Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
Volunteers have been a very special part of Baxter Regional Medical Center since before its inception. Steeped in history, their enduring goals remain the same ? to serve the community and hospital through compassion, dedication and financial support.

In addition to assisting patients, families and visitors in more than 60 discipline areas, the Auxiliary raises funds to purchase capital equipment for the hospital through the gift shop, thrift shop and fundraisers.

Areas of Service
There are many volunteer opportunities at BRMC. Our volunteers assist in many areas such as Emergency Department, gift shop, thrift shop, patient care, clerical, information desk, patient menu distribution, special projects and many more.

Meetings
General meetings of the BRMC Auxiliary are held six times a year in February, March, April, September, November and December. Notices are sent to members to notify them of the location, day and time. Each meeting consists of a special presentation, refreshments and reports from leaders in the Auxiliary.

Qualifications
The qualifications considered essential for membership in Baxter Regional Medical Center Auxiliary are a sincere desire to serve others, a cooperative spirit, adaptability, friendliness, a gracious manner, and complete dependability. Every responsible member of any organizations bears his or her share of the work, but there are many opportunities to do a little extra kindness that enriches the lives of both the giver and the receiver.
